The man alleged to have been stalking Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus will be free after pleading guilty to two charges, both misdemeanors.
53 year old Mark McLeod received a sentence of 2 years probation, subsequent to his arrest in close proximity to a movie set where Cyrus was filming. He was found guilty of disorderly conduct and obstruction. He was released to the custody of his sister.
He was ordered to undergo a mental health services evaluation, as a condition of his probation.
As part of his probation he has to undergo a mental health evaluation.
The man had said that Miley Cyrus was sending him “secret messages” that came from his tv, and he told police that it was his “destiny” to be with Cyrus. He also told them he had many thousands of pictures of Miley and letters he had written to her on his computer.
