New evidence is unfolding in the Los Angeles court house to determine if Howard K. Stern, Khristine Eroshevich, and Sandeep Kapoor should be held accountable to contributing to the beauties death. Prosecutors are saying that a blend of 44 different medications was the cause of a toxic addict’s overdose. Anne’s security guard, Maurice Brighthaupt, testified that he stood there watching as Anne slurp from a baby bottle which contain a sedative chloral hydrate. Later the coroner report sited that it was the primary cause of Smith’s fatal death. Stern is facing 11 new felony charges in prescribing, administering and dispensing a controlled substance to an addict. Eroshevich and Kapoor, Anne’s physician and psychiatrist, are being charged with 6 felony counts including the conspiracy to commit a crime. Stern claims that he trusted her doctors to prescribe the drugs for her physical pain and is not held accountable for the unlawful way they obtain them.
